Welcome Coaches!
You have been selected and added as a coach for the upcoming Dolphins Flag Football League Fall Season. Thank you for volunteering your time and helping make the season a great experience for our players and families.
Please review the information below to get started with your coach account and access your team.
1. Set Up Your Sports Thread Account
Locate the Sports Thread account email sent to the email address you used when completing the Volunteer Interest Form. Follow the link in the email to set your password and access your coach account.
If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
2. View Your Team Roster
After setting your password, your first step should be to confirm that you can access your team and view your roster.

Please review your roster and make sure you can see the athletes currently assigned to your team.
3. Find Your Team Schedule
Once your schedule is available, you can access it through Sports Thread.

4. Message Parents and Players
Sports Thread allows coaches to communicate directly with the parents and players listed on their team roster.

Please use Sports Thread for team-specific communication throughout the season whenever possible.
5. Game-Day Check-In
Game-day check-in will be completed by Dolphins Flag Football League administrators and staff.
All athletes currently listed as “On Roster” in Sports Thread will be available for game-day check-in. Coaches do not need to check players in themselves.
6. Additional Coaches & Volunteers
Each team may have up to two approved coaches listed on the team roster. Additional coaches will be added as their required background checks are completed and approved by DFFL.
Parents and other volunteers who are not listed as approved coaches are welcome to assist with practices when needed. However, only approved coaches listed on the team roster will be permitted on the sideline during games.
